2-Echocardiogram...

2-D Echocardiogram and color Doppler report

Done at WorldCityMed, Quezon City, Philippines

08 July 2007

Interpretation:

Normal left ventricular end diastolic diameter with thickened wall, normal wall motion and adequate contractility.
Normal right ventricle with adequate contractility
Dilated left atrium with volum index of 28 cc/m2
Normal right atrium, main pulmonary artery, aortic root and ascending aorta
Structurally normal mitral valve, tricuspid valve, pulmonic valve and aortic valve cusps
No intracardiac throumbus nor pericardia effusion

Pulmonary Artery Pressure: normal

Color flow and Doppler Studies:

Trivial mosaic color flow across the mitral valve and tricuspid valve in systole
Reversed mitral inflow E/A velocity ratio with prolonged IVRT
Normal pulmonary artery pressure

Conclusion:

Concentric left ventricular hypertrophy with normal wall motion and systolic function with impaired relaxation
Dilated left atrium
Trivial mitral regurgitatiion and tricuspid regurgitation
Normal pulmonary artery pressure.
